I cannot see my own location on the map, or I don’t show up in ‘Pinga People’
Please ensure location services is set to ‘Always’ in Settings->Privacy->Location Services->Pinga Setting to ‘Never’ or ‘While Using the App’ stops the App from functioning correctly.
I’m receiving too many Ping notifications
Ping notifications are sent to users within a 2km radius of the ‘broadcaster’. You can temporarily reduce the number of notifications you get by turning off ‘I am available to be Pinged’ in My Pinga.
I don’t want to receive Ping requests from a particular person / I want to block someone
That’s fine – simply tap the ‘block’ button on the top left of the chat and negotiate screen. Note you’ll need to accept the task request and enter the chat screen first before the block button becomes available. After blocking someone you will not see the other party on the Pinga People page, and neither party will receive each other’s ping requests.
How do I un-block someone?
To un-block somebody, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the full name of the person you’d like to un-block.
Should I be worried about privacy?
Pinga has been designed to protect your privacy. Your location is only shown on the map when you send out a ping request, or respond to someone else’s request – and we ask your permission each time.
I bought an item in good faith for delivery to another Pinga user, and delivered it as requested, but they didn’t pay when I delivered it to them.
Please email email@example.com with a photo of the receipt, the name of the other party, and a short description of what happened, including the date and time. We will quickly look into the case and if necessary refund you.

The item or service I asked for took too long to arrive, or arrived in a poor condition. I paid for it anyway but was disappointed by the experience.
