Fresh off the press! Pinga is delighted to announce that we have just added two new and independent London retailers to the platform. Welcome, Ziggy & Mabel’s Pet Store and Better Health Bakery.
So, who are they?
Better Health Bakery
Better Health Bakery is the perfect place for you to get your bakery fix whilst supporting a good cause. Based in Haggerston, East London and part of the Centre for Better Health they are a social enterprise bakery.
They focus on providing work skills training placements for those who have been distanced from employment due to mental ill-health and all revenue generated goes to support The Centre’s work.
They have a plethora of baked goods available on the Pinga app. The country sourdough is the perfect way to start the day or enjoy at lunch, with the chocolate & walnut brownie satisfying that sweet treat craving at any point in the day. See how delicious it looks below!
They are currently open Wednesday – Saturday from 8am – 2pm. However, everything is made fresh and they can run out of stock – so get your order in nice and early, we will deliver it to you within 2 hours.
Ziggy and Mabel’s Pet Store
Over the first UK lockdown, like many other families, the founders of Ziggy & Mabel’s added a cockapoo to their household. This cockapoo is called Ziggy, and is unsurprisingly ADORABLE.
But, there was a problem. Ziggy’s owners realised there was no way of getting the required puppy kit at short notice. Especially with a puppy, you can run out of supplies with little to no notice and so you want replacements quickly, but they couldn’t go out as they already had busy work schedules.
There was another problem, they wanted Ziggy to have good quality food that was organic, ethical and sustainable. In terms of supplies such as puppy pads and leads, they wanted to be able to trust that the stuff really worked, it was a minefield.
So, they decided to solve the problem themselves, create Ziggy & Mabel’s Pet Store and team up with Pinga to give their customer’s cats and dogs (yes they cater for both!) their urgently needed supplies delivered within 2 hours to their door.
